Krohn Racing/Jönsson & Zonta Victorious at New Jersey in Grand-Am DP on XR-1 Carbon Ceramic Composite Brake Pads -Millville, NJ (May 3, 2009) - Krohn Racing posted their first victory in the Proto-Auto Lola Ford today at the Verizon Wireless 250 at New Jersey Motorsports Park, in Millville, New Jersey. Round 3 on the 2009 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series schedule was a race filled with rain from start to finish. 
Team AFROX (BMW) Wins the 3rd Round of the Bridgestone National Production Car Race Series, Running Cobalt Friction XR-1 Front and XR-3 Rear at Kilarney Raceway in Cape Town South Africa -(Cape Town May 9 2009) This was the first race weekend that the team ran Cobalt pads (XR1 front / XR3 rear). The team runs Powerbrake PB44L calipers, our 330x32mm GT-series floating rotors and our DuraLine braided brake lines up front matched to OEM rotors and calipers at the rear (as per series regulations). After overall wins for the first two race weekends of the season, this car went into the weekend with substantial 'success ballast' and yet the driver Anthony Taylor was extremely strong under braking. Anthony qualified second on the grid and had two great races resulting in another overall win for the weekend.

SSB National Championship and Triple Crown for Lee Niffenegger on the New XR-1 Carbon Ceramic Composite Brake Pads - Topeka, KS (October12, 2008) – Team Honda Research driver Lee Niffenegger completed the 2008 SCCA National Club Racing season in fine style with his first National Championship in Showroom Stock B at the 2008 SCCA Runoffs. After finishing 4th in 2006 and 2nd in 2007, Lee made the final step up the podium in his Team Honda Research/BFGoodrich/Cobalt Friction Honda Civic Si. The win also represents the final jewel in the Chicago Region Triple Crown which consists of a division win, the June Sprints, and the Runoffs. Lee won the Northeast Division SSB points title with a perfect 7 for 7 record that included wins at California Speedway, Nelson Ledges, Road America, Beaverun, and Pocono. Lee becomes the first SSB competitor to claim the honor in the official history of the award.

Banner Racing Wins Season Finale at Miller Motorsports Park on Cobalt Friction Carbon Ceramic Composite XR-2 Series Brake Pads- Tooele, UT (September 15, 2007 ) -- Paul Edwards started the #07 Banner Racing Pontiac GXP.R from the pole position of the Grand-Am Rolex GT presented by Crown Royal Sunchaser 1000 and never looked back. Edwards along with co-drivers Kelly Collins and Andy Pilgrim led every single lap of the seven hour race, surviving a scare in the last turn and a brief loss of the lead just before taking the checkered flag. The win moved the duo of Collins and Edwards up to second place in the final Drivers Championship standings. 
Holtom and Curran Win for Chevy at Miller Motorsports Park on Cobalt Friction Carbon Ceramic Composite XR-2 Series Front and XR-5 Rear Brake Pads- Tooele, UT (September 14, 2007) -- Jamie Holtom and Eric Curran won their second race of the season in last week's second-to-last round of the 2007 Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series. The pair, driving the No. 01 Georgian Bay Motorsports SCADAPack/Track Bar Cobalt SS Supercharged, finished nearly 11 seconds ahead of the pole-position car of Mike and Brian Lock in the 200-mile event held at the desert road course of Miller Motorsports Park. 
Southard Motorsports Takes Top-4 Finish at Salt Lake City Finale on Cobalt Friction Carbon Ceramic Composite XR-2 Series Brake Pads- Tooele, UT (September 16, 2007) -- Southard Motorsports closed the 2007 Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve season in fine style at Miller Motorsports Park on Saturday. Lead driver Shane Lewis (Jupiter, Fla.) and team newcomer Eric Lux (Buffalo, NY) charged from 14th to fourth in the No. 3 Preformed Line Products Lexus Riley in the Sunchaser 1000 despite a final practice accident that left the car looking questionable to even make the start. The fourth-place finish was the highest for the Steve and Martha Southard (Powell, Ohio) owned team this season and the second-highest of the team's career. Southard Motorsports' best Rolex Series result was third, twice, in 2006 with Lewis leading the team to podiums at Long Beach and Phoenix. 
Team Cadillac and Andy Pilgram Finish Fourth in Mosport SPEED GT and Keep Championship Lead on the Cobalt Friction Carbon Ceramic Composite XR-2 Series Brake Pads- BOWMANVILLE, Ontario, Aug. 25, 2007 -- Pilgrim Gain Ground in Championship Chase and Lawson Aschenbach notched his fourth runner-up finish of the season for Team Cadillac in today's SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT race at Mosport International Raceway. Andy Pilgrim finished fourth in his Cadillac CTS-V in the 30-lap race, while Ron Fellows was sidelined by contact with points leader Randy Pobst at the start of the race. Eric Curran scored his fourth win of the season in a Corvette with a 6.164-second margin of victory over Aschenbach. Pilgrim's steady progress in the championship race cut Pobst's lead to four points with two races remaining, and Aschenbach is two points behind Pilgrim. Cadillac is now three points ahead of Chevrolet and seven points up on Porsche in the manufacturers championship standings. 
Wittmer Brothers Power Past Competition in Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series ST Race at Trois-Rivieres on Cobalt Friction Carbon Ceramic Composite XR-2 Series Front and XR-5 Rear Brake Pads- TROIS-RIVIERES, Quebec, Canada (August 18, 2007) -- Nick Wittmer showed his strength on the circuit at Trois-Rivieres in qualifying in the morning and was joined in the afternoon by his brother Kuno Wittmer to complete a dominating day at the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres with a near flag-to-flag win in Saturday's Grand-Am KONI Challenge race in the No. 31 i-MOTO Racing Acura TSX. 
Banner Pontiac GXP.R Wins GT at Barber on the XR-2 Carbon Ceramic Composite Race Pads- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (July 21, 2007) -- Kelly Collins and Paul Edwards posted their first Rolex Series GT victory today in the No. 07 Banner Engineering Pontiac GXP.R in the Bradley Arant 250 Presented by Porsche at Barber Motorsport Park. Teammates Leighton Reese and Tim Lewis Jr. came home in fourth in the No. 06 Pontiac GXP.R in round ten of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Special Reserve. Both factory cars practiced, qualified and raced with one set of the Cobalt Friction XR-2 Carbon Ceramic Composite Brake Pads on the front and rear.

(July 21, 2007) -- After taking over the controls of the No. 01 Georgian Bay Motorsports SCADAPack Chevrolet Cobalt from co-driver and polesitter Eric Curran midway through Saturday's two-and-a-half hour Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series Street Tuner (ST) race at Barber Motorsports Park, co-driver Jamie Holtom put a thrashing on his fellow competitors to win the team's first series race of 2007 on the 2.3-mile, 16-turn permanent road course. The Georgian Bay Motorsports SCADAPack Chevrolet Cobalt raced on the Cobalt Friction Carbon Ceramic Composite XR-2 in the front and XR-5 in the rear, this is the setup run for most of the 2007 season. Also Four of the Top Six finishing cars were on the same Cobalt Friction Carbon Ceramic Composite XR-2 in the front and XR-5 in the rear setup (#69 SpeedSource RX-8, #31 i-MOTO TSX and #53 Predator CobaltSS). 
Team LG's Peterson Shatters Sebring Track Record En Route To Maiden SPEED GT Pole on New XR-3 Compounds SEBRING, Fla. (Mar. 15, 2007)- Running the New Cobalt Friction XR Carbon-Ceramic Composite Race Compounds (XR-3 Front and XR-3 Rear). Doug Peterson, of Bonita Springs, Fla., captured his first-career SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge GT Championship pole today in spectacular fashion, and will lead the field tomorrow to the start of the season at the 55th Annual Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway. Driving the No. 87 3-Dimensional Services/LG Motorsports Chevrolet Corvette, Peterson needed only one flying lap around the historic 3.7-mile circuit to turn a 2:07.679 (104.324 mph)—shattering the year-old qualifying mark held by Leighton Reese by 1.085 seconds. Peterson’s team leader, Lou Gigliotti, of Dallas Texas, (XR-2 Front and XR-2 Rear) was third quick in his No. 28 LG Pro Long Tube Headers Chevrolet Corvette with a time of 2:08.598 (103.578 mph). 
BlackForest Motorsports Wins DAYTONA on New XR-2 Compounds (January 2007) - Running the New Cobalt Friction XR Carbon-Ceramic Composite Race Compounds (XR-2 Front and XR-2 Rear). Canadian hotshoe David Empringham passed fellow countryman Scott Maxwell on Lap 61 of the 64-lap Fresh From Florida 200 at Daytona International Speedway, scoring himself and co-driver Tom Nastasi an overall victory in the No. 5 Blackforest Motorsports Ford Mustang GT in the 2007 Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series season opener.
